Pittards/Gripmaster leather putter grips

Anybody have any experience with these.

After a bit of thought, I've decided to keep the Scotty and not replace it with the NOME.

Thing is, I find the Pistolero grip that comes with the Del Mar a touch on the firm side. Good grip, just a tad firm.

I've heard good things about Pittards leather grips (Gripmaster?) and was wondering if anyone on here had some first hand experience with them?

Sure they must be better these days but had a bladed putter with a leather grip when I first started which was a hand me down and the grip was like a slippery eel when it got wet and a nightmare to hold onto

Not used one myself but they look nice. Agree with Homer though, in the wet an all leather grip could be like holding on to a snake. I'm looking to replace the stock grip on my Rife 400 with something a bit chunkier. Got 3 different grips on order to try out.

No, that's the other reason for the change.

Since changing my grip (As per a previous thread) the standard pistolero grip on the SC feels a tad thin. I'm looking for a midsize grip to try and fit the bill.

The grip on the Ping Nome is bigger than standard and felt really nice.

Looking at the GripMaster Midsize Paddle grip.

I just had a Ping AVS Midsize grip this week but didn't like so got shot of it. Shame, I could've passed it on for you! I'm looking for a new midsize too (found the Ping a bit thin actually) and I think it'll be the Superstroke Ultra Slim I end up with as it doesn't taper at the bottom. I grip the putter almost to the actual metal, rightly or wrongly. I have 4 grips arriving next week, all midsize and I'll only be keeping one so if you're interested in a spare I'll let you have it at mates rates. No leather grip master I'm afraid though.

I'm at the other end of the grip. I grip towards the end, but still find the grip isn't substantial enough for my grip.

I have my eye on a few grips here and there so hopefully one will fit the bill :thup:
