Does anyone else apart from me use a Ping Tour Wedge? I use a 58º wedge but all I see on any of the forums is Vokey. Not everyone uses these surely.

Cheers

Brian

I have changed my lob wedge to a Z TP Homer!

Are they good? waiting for delivery of a 58* but for my 54 i think im guna have to stick to the proven Vokey for me!

I have 52 56 and 60 deg Ping Tour Ws - very good wedge, easy to open up on touch shots, plenty of zip and not to heavy which is my critcism of vokeys

Just got the Ping Tour TS 60 wedge only been out a couple of weeks, great piece of kit. I also have ping 52i wedge

Had mizuno- good, but I now have 2 vokeys, 54 and 58, superb clubs but whatever you get make sure you get enough bounce!

What is enough bounce i struggle to get me head round this? i understand the idea of the type of ground ect but does it actually make any difference?

Although I use Ping irons I have Mizuno wedges, for the time being anyway. I really like the look of some of the Ping wedges and may well change to them in the future.

Interesting.....I have the exact opposite, I find the Ping wedges really flexible to use.

I have the 52, 56, 58 and 60 TP Z although I normally only carry the 52 and 58 unless I'm playing somewhere with deep bunkers (Lydd etc) or somewhere with renowned deep rough (Tylney next week) in which case I'll ditch the 5 wood and carry the 52, 56 and 60

I like the 60 and I'm more consistant with it than my old Cally X forged which felt rather heavy.

I use the Ping Tour-W wedges - 52 and 58 degree.

I have tried Vokey and Cleveland wedges and to be fair they get better spin than the Ping's but the Ping's are far easier to hit and are FAR more forgiving.

Ping all the way for me.

I don't like Ping Wedges, but each to their own. I have a Vokey (56) and it's a good club, works for me, as does my Taylor Made GW (52).

There's lots of good kit out there, I see plenty of bags with Mizunos or Clevelands in....and yes, some with Ping.

Vokeys are good, no doubt, but there's plenty of choice. I don't have one because of the name, I got it 'cause it was cheap, milled and seems to suit me.

I've got 3 Tour-W's in my bag. I've tried most wedges in the past 3 years, trying to find a type that worked for me. Vokeys just felt funny, Mizzy's were ok but couldn't find any consistency, Cally's just chewed every ball up, Cleveland's felt dead, I'm allergic to TM, so its a good job the Pings work! The feel is first rate and I can get more than enough spin from them. Just ask MikeH and David Howell what I can do with a Tour-W 50 degree!!!
Best wedges I've owned and I have no reason to change.
