Hi I am considering buying the new K15 Ping Irons 5 through to sand wedge ,as anyone one got any or tried any?your comments before purchasing would be welcome, thanks

I haven't tried them, but Ping are doing some demo days at the moment where you could try them out and compare them against the G15. Where about in the country are you ?

Hi

I have got a set 4 - SW.

I can honestly say they are the best irons i have ever used (and i have used a few). The hybrids in perticular are so easy to hit its silly.

Strange thing is i didnt like the Raptures as i struggled with distance control but they seem to have that sorted in the K15's.

I would suggest you try them first as one mans meat is another mans poison.

I don't know much about the k15 irons but you can't go wrong with Ping if you ask me. I've got G10 irons and they are the best golf purchase i ever made, very easy to use even when your swing is having an off day. I think the the K15 are even more forgiving so as i've already said you wont go to far wrong with them.

This should be in the Ping section.

Indeed, it should be.

I think GM need to set up a Ping section and demand nice golf days in return for all the forum users. Win-Win.

I am a little shocked and I guess happy to see a golfer of your standard using these. Do you not find them a little chunky though? the sole on them is HUGE!

Used to play with BB2002 and Callaway Wide Sole so the K15 are like Blades by comparison :)

Alex, did you not think thats how he has got to 9....

Tried "players" clubs once because i was told i should be using them at my level (whatever that means). Couldnt hit them, went back to "hackers" clubs and continued "hacking" my way round in high 70's low 80,s ;)

I'm pleased to hear this. I've played with all sort over the years and can too confirm I'm happy to hack it around with so-called hackers clubs.
