Basically that because I've only hit the 7 iron I don;t have the data regarding the rest of the bag, and because I have only owned a hollow 4 iron, not wedges. So I'd be interested if people have varying results in the rest of the bag, or if any issues have arisen with owners of the clubs.

I understand... shame you cant demo other clubs.. my i210s have a W and Gap wedge... no SWs, they can charge more for specialist wedges! I've played 2 rounds with my new set and think they playpretty consistently.

The Amercian forums are a few weeks ahead of the UK ones... they are worth a look

Tried i500 this morning
Very impressed look good Feel good .
Ball striking was awesome compared to my AP3s
Hit seven iron 180yds this sounds good but longer distances with every club will lead to bigger gaps between them.
That’s the only thing stopping me pulling the trigger today .
They were towering above the AP3s on the practice ground
I hit quite a low ball but had no problem getting these up in the air.
They are a much nicer feel than i210 imo.
Going for proper fitting tomorrow.

I have a mixed set 4,5 & 6 irons are G700 and 7,8,9 & W are i500's. I like the added forgiveness in the longer irons and they don't look out of place.
Overall i'm very pleased with the whole set.

On Sunday played with a lad who played MP-59s - boy they were lovely. We compared clubs and my Letters forged F-7s looked very similar at address to his MP-59s. Big difference in cost mind. As much as I liked the look of his lovely bats I am still most likely going to plump for a set of i210s or i500s. Have to getting hitting them though to feel the difference. Point of mentioning the MP-59s and how similar they look to my own aging bats is that I guess I might well feel a big difference in the strike of both i210s and i500s.

Went for practice session with i500 they are very nice but not much difference with my AP3s tbh.
One thing that worried me was the drop off in the wind .
They launch very high and in windy conditions they can be tough to knock down.
Very nice for a little runner from the fringe .
All in all they are not significantly better than my own so may wait a bit.
But anyone thinking of upgrading they are a lovely club.

I was thinking of doing something similar once the 919s come out and potentially look at 4,5, 6 in hot metal and 7,8,9,W , GW in forged as long as the gapping works.

Tried the I500 and the I210's the other day, albeit just the 7 iron in both instances. Found that they look very similar down by the ball, both are stunning clubs in my opinion. I thought the i500 sound was dull and it didn't quite fell like a forged club to me - not to say it wasn't nice to hit, I just felt the i210 was superior. Now if you put the 4 irons in my hands I might be more of an I500 player.....

Picked one up and hit it this morning just out of curiosity.

Looks nice enough, sound was awful, feel awful and just hit moonballs.

7 iron carry about the same as my Srixon Z745 6 iron.

Not for me but it will suit plenty of golfers.

Fitted for i500 Back in Nov 18, ordered through my Club pro, took delivery week later, loved the look and feel Very consistent, however after 2 weeks noticed small rust spots on face of 4/5 of the irons. Sent back to Ping for refurbishment. After another couple of weeks rust spots returned.
Again back Ping and new set delivered January 2019. Noticed today rust spots appearing on wedge. Anyone else had sim issues?

Barkeeper's Friend.

I get spots on my i200's. It's metal and it's gonna get spots.
