Ping G15 Driver

Having spent several hours at AG i have purchased a new driver the G15

Tried various lower priced drivers Nike , Callaway, and the ping K15

The K15 was a hook monster for me the Nike Machspeed Black drivers were very nice as was the Callaway Razr buy at £129 the Ping G15 was hard to fault


Tried the 10.5 and 12 deg loft and found i had extra distance with the 12 deg loft

Tried the same club in stiff shaft and lost 20 to 30 yds distance so went back to the regular shaft


The one thing i noticed was the flight on the G15 was a nice draw even though i was playing a straight shot !


Happy with my purchase, now to sell my old trusty Ping G2 with Prolaunch Blue shaft

Enjoy the new club. Nowt like splashing the cash on yourself. I belive it is designed to draw the ball. But never tried one myself.

My first reaction was to choose something other than Ping ( i have a G2 ) and really liked the Nike Machspeed and the Nike Vrs very nice shafts but wasnt too sure they were as consistent as the Ping

The flight shape is nice and appears to be a natural draw shape as mentioned


I wanted to buy the 10.5 but the 12 deg made better distance every hit hence the purchase

My G2 is 11.5 so higher lofts must suit my swing !

I have since and also the 12 degree in regular shaft not soft regular, and not a lot of difference or at least not enough to justify a change. I get good hang time and sometimes a bit too much hence the fitting to see if a change would benefit.
