Ping G15 Driver/woods. Comments welcome.

Last week I took the plunge and finally ditched my HT Mizuno MX-700 and switched to a Ping G15 12 in TFC regular which I bought whilst out shopping (from a well-known golf store).

I've got to say just how marvellous it is. It's taken a while to get used to the square face (Mizuno was closed a little) but it's a great club.

My opponent yesterday had the G15 irons and G15 Driver/woods. His driving was solid, we were very evenly matched actually, but his fairways were incredible. For someone who hits his clubs the same distances as me, his 3 and 5 woods were off the planet.



Technology won't save a bad swing, but wow! talk about distance-munching clubs.

Anybody else in the Ping zone?

Yes recently bought the G15 driver 10.5 with the draw and its massively improved my drives, infact I'd ditched my driver until I got this. I don't hit it massively long and still slices a little but its probably my best purchase so far. So so happy with it.

I have the g15 irons and they are great. They are a bit like Alex Ferguson.... Ugly as sin, but does a great job......

I tried some G15s in graphite. Very impressive, just couldn't deal with the 130 yard PWs.

Funny think I use to use the Ping wooden drivers/woods, plus the ping eye 2 irons. Use to think they were great. Never really looked at ping clubs since. Maybe I should?

I remember looking at "Zings" in about 1998?. Once I stopped laughing at them, I took 'em out for a hit.

Then bought some Mizunos.
