As we all love golf thought it would be nice to view 1 or 2 (MAX) pics of your home course to whet our appetites when its pouring/cold/can't play/ or at work........
I'd start but as I just thought of it I'll need to take a couple first then post them.........

Lets see your favourite hole:) or your nemesis :(

I don't have any that I've taken myself (I thought I did), but here are a few decent ones from the web:

1st Hole looking back up towards the tee:

17th hole, again looking back towards the tee and clubhouse. Massive risk/reward hole for the big hitters.

Very nice pictures.

The second picture of the 17th looks very inviting with lakes, bunkers and a skinny approach to the green.

Will see if i can get some pics of my gaff up here.

Ash!!

Yea, what you can't see on the 1st one is that there's a ditch that runs right across the fairway about 40 yards from the green. It's a par 5 and if you decide to go for it and duff your shot, it runs downhill and your ball is mostly likely going to end up in the ditch (and 50p in the captain's charidee box for going in).

the 17th is a great hole though, but so, so difficult.

The 17th strikes me as a hole that is easy to turn into a par5 if its a 4 and a par 6 if its a 5.

:)

Yep! It's a par 4 and isn't very long, only 350 from the yellows, and an elevated tee, but the carry over the left hand (right as you look at the picture) lake is around 230, but it's obviously a very narrow window as anything left is wet (unless you carry the back of the lake into the trees which is around 260) and anything more than 10-15 yards right is wet. Unless you can carry a slice 270-280!

That looks a fantastic course - good quality pics too.

I've seen some from when you posted before Macster and thought then how nice it looked.

I've been threatening to take the missus for a short break, perhaps a week, up in Yorkshire. So when I do I'll be PMing you Macster!

Golfmmad.

Have to agree. Superb looking course!

Here are a couple of pictures of my course, Camberley Heath, taken on a crisp February day 3 years ago.

First the 8th hole. The picture was taken from the then under construction championship tee. Par 3 of 238yds,

Next we have the 18th with the clubhouse in the background. You need to carry the ball some 200yds to carry the heather mound :)

Ding dong! Looks bloomin marvellous TXL!

Looking forward to playing that next month if I can figure out how to get myself down there on the Sunday morning.

I'll try and get some shots of mine later in the week.

The way to play the 17th at Aztecs place is to duff one into the water left, drop another and then smack a 4 iron 197 yards to the green and sink the putt....
