Guys if you ever need to create a random sample and have excel do this

Leave column A blank
Have the data you wish to randomise in rows starting in column B
Select cell A1 Type =RAND() in the formula text box
Then drag that down the column to copy into cells that correspond to your other data (in Brendy's case 1-22)
Now sort by column A largest to smallest

Job done
 
Before you sort by col A though you need to Copy > Paste Values, as the random numbers change every time the worksheet alters.

Brendy's way is much more fun. Thinking of doing something similar for Blackmoor Meet. Just one number needed beween 1 and 46 to find out who has to play with Smiffy. ;)
 
Excel is no fun, honest, I get to use it all day and still dont know half of it!
