A few months ago I got a new desktop which has Windows 10 on it.
Sadly, the photo editor I used to use doesn't work in Win 10.
I've also lost the 'key number' for Paint Shop Pro Photo X 2 that I have so that's now useless.

What do you use to edit your photos and what do you recommend please?
Nothing fancy needed, just basic stuff.
Thanks in advance

Can relate,

I now use 2 free to use online photo editors, work really well for basic editing and no downloads/hard drive space required. Upload image, edit then save back to PC or SD/CD/pendrive etc -

Thanks Maxfli

I've looked at online editing but would prefer to actually have a programme on my PC/laptop (hard drive space not an issue)
I'm looking at Movavi

I wouldn't have thought CS2 will work with RAW files from a newish camera though which is something to consider

I use Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom - £8.57 a month
I can use RAW files from my D700 with the help of some software whose name I can't remember. Who uses RAW files anyway? In 14 years as a pro photographer I've never found the need. Only time I used them was when I accidentally set the camera to RAW for a couple's wedding & couldn't edit them!

Photoshop Elements for me. Ok its a cut down from Photoshop but does everything I ever want at an affordable price

Can have a steep learning curve but GIMP is very powerful if you need a more featured package and want it free. Some great support forums and plenty of Youtube videos for it as well.
