Im amazed that as soon as the price of Crude Oil jumps, we see an immediate increase in pump prices, ie. Next day....

BUT, when the price of Crude falls, as it has this week. We are told on the TV that it will be many weeks if not months before this filters down to us end users.

This seems plain wrong

Cameron...If you are reading, this is something to sort out BIG TIME

Fragger :(

it was the same when they took 1p off a litre in the budget, the petrol stations said we have already paid tax on what we have in store so didn't take the 1p off straight away....they don't say when the price goes up in a budget "oh we haven't paid the extra on what we have in stock so we'll delay the increase" it always goes up at 6pm that day....it's the same with gas & electric they soon put the price up when wholesale prices go up but not so quick to reduce prices when wholesale prices come down...rant over

Asda, Tesco & Morrisons all have axed petrol and diesel today.

1p off petrol, Asda 4p off diesel, Morrisons and Tesco 3p off diesel.

Still nowhere near enough though. Rip off Britain at its best.

I filled up yesterday and it cost me £70.50 to fill up from empty.

A year ago, it would have been £60.

And a year or two before that, it was £50.

I love living in this country and I'm proud to be British, but this is just taking the biscuit

I put £50 in last week, ok I was running on vapour by the stage I put fuel in and I got just over half a tank. Disgusting.

Whats the government doing, nothing but coining in the lovely tax.

£75.73 for me Aztec. I don't even want to think how much of that is tax.

I was driving on holiday in Canada about 3 years ago and told someone the equivalent price of petrol in the UK and their only response was " I take it that everone walks everywhere" and they thought their own fuel price was getting extortionate at about half our price.

I know. Americans/Canadians make me laugh. They're all up in arms at their extortionate fuel prices. Needless to say, the guys I know feel ALOT better about it when I tell them how much we are paying.

I do that now TT, used to go at a rate of knots to my gf's in the early days, didnt think of the fuel costs as was on a promise ;)

Now its been a year I just pootle along and think of the fuel I am saving :D
