yes I'm a big Peter Alliss fan, talks like he's talking to you personally and always a good quip or anecdote to hand.

I remember he was watching Craig Stadler (The walrus) striding up a very windy 8th hole at Carnoustie one year and his trousers were taking a hammering, Allis quipped "Look at that, Trousers full of legs"

Also, the "Ken on the course" bits are interesting, makes you realise how difficult the course is!!!

Actually some of you may remember Alliss doing a BBC program a few years ago about lessons in Golf, I can’t remember for the life of me the name of the show, but I watched it and it’s the reason I took up golf in the 1st place.

Naaa....is that the same Maureen who said Big Ernie was going to play a half shot with a wood...and didn't. Come on when have you seen big Ernie play a half shot with a farway wood. Then just a few minuets later she said Fowler, after a monster drive, had a shot that was impossible to stop and he did.
