Testing pic post

Hopefully you can see my trousers and how annoying they are

Braw troos mate. Not sure about your bunnit though... :clap:

Sometimes I get up to the course mid afternoon say 3-3.30 and it can be pretty quiet some days during the week, so I can usually get round on my own in 2 and a half hours.then just as I am getting round to the 10th because their maybe a
few going out off the 1st you then get a group who won't wait and then butt in on the 10th in front of me seemingly totally oblivious that i have just finished the 9th leaving you waiting on every shot,eventually letting you through 4 holes and an hour later.Grrrrrr

I can assure you, I'd be having a word before they even got off the 10th tee!

Things that annoy me out on the course.......

ME not commiting to the club/ shot I choose
ME not trusting my read and pushing/ pulling the putt instead

Starting on the 10th but marking the card from the 1st out of habit - doh.

Stating the obvious;

I hit a 5ft putt and leave ball 3 inches short of the cup, and a playing partners says “Oooh! you didn’t hit it hard enough.

Thanks for the advice I would say, although that’s not the words that might be on my mind

Golf should be no more than 3 hours. I think your part of the slow play problem.

You couldnt run round my course in 3 hours let alone play golf!! The time is irrelevant in my opinion as all courses are different lengths, its about about keeping up with the group in front and doing the right things as has been mentioned. Tarting about with cards, measuring this and taking 73 practice shots then duff 5 yards and then repack their bags which are on the wrong side of the green.... JUST GET ON WITH IT !!! :confused:

We all love being out there but we don't all love standing around before every shot waiting for some numpties faffing around all day! Most play better when there's good momentum going on. Keep up with the people in front and dont loose holes. Move quickly between shots and if you loose a ball, no worries, let the people behind come through and take pressure off yourself. Basic stuff

I fear a slight exaggeration my friend when the world record for a marathon is a shade over 2 hours 3 minutes and I doubt that your course is over 26 miles in length!

Also just keeping up with the game in front is the wrong attitude. If the group in front is taking 5 hours do you just automatically accept today's round is going to be 5 hours?

I played on Sunday and got let through by a few groups until I came to a 2 ball who were just teeing off, as I reached the tee for 1 of them to say to me we would let you through but their is 2 guys in front of us :eek: and yip the 2 guys in front of them let them through at the next tee so why could they not do the same ?
