The Pros recommend having your eye vertically over the ball - not level with the top of the grip

BTW I'm a slightly less vertically challenged and have had my shaft reduced to about 32"

I am 6ft 2" and have lengthened my putter to 36 and 1/2 inches. Other wise I am hunched up and get back ache.

5' 8" or 9" not sure and 33" putter. Strange thing is I did a callaway putter web fitting after I got mine and it advised me the best putter for me was mine at 33.5"!!

It's not absolute height that's critical - it's the relative size of body parts. I've got squitty short legs for my height so use the 33 putter. If my legs were half inch longer and arms half inch shorter, I'd need a longer one - but I'd still be 5'9

out of interest big_russ, your wedges - how much longer are the shafts than the ones off the peg? Cheers.

My irons are custom fit at 1" longer and 4°upright. I am having a wedge fitting (Cleveland) on the 16th and we are thinking about 1" long but only 2° upright, but we will see on the day.
