After a day of serious drinking and watching the town get beat at Cheltenham I played in the monthly medal yesterday feeling surprisingly well and confident. Even told the club pro I was going to hit a good score.
Our course is 9 hole, so play it twice and scored an ok 47 front nine, assuming CSS was 69 I needed a 48 or less back nine and hit a personal best 44 giving me a 91, net 64 and a handicap cut of 2.
I hit 110 in a comp 2 weeks ago! Spent an enjoyable evening demonstrating my birdie on the 14th round the pubs of Swindon.

Well played sir! Evidence if ever it were needed that a hangover can help you play better golf!
