I have been to my chiropractor today (every two weeks at the ripe old age of 21) and he has given me a ready made excuse for poor performance.

According to him there are studies which say that because my pelvis rotates (in a bad way) that by the 9th hole my performance will start to drop because it will affect my swing. Apparently the way to counteract it is to swing a couple of times left handed with a club to even it up. Anyone else heard of this before????

Now I just need to find an excuse for the first 9 holes.

or
find a chiropractor who doesn't charge by the session for weird and wonderful diagnosis ;)

I have rotation issues in my spine, and one of the things I have been asked to do is practice swinging left handed. Not hitting balls, just swinging.

That's nothing to do with your back... have you SEEN your right handed swing??? Left might suit you ;)

A guy I used to work with claimed the same thing last year. Told me his pelvis wasn't aligned straight and had been doing something to straighten it out and this was why he was playing poorly.

I put it down to the fact that he plays golf 3 times a year and never practices.
