What happened to the thread Patrick started about pendulum putting?
I went to bed about 10.30 and missed the rest.
I guess it got all personal and was pulled?

To my knowledge, with the exception of maybe two comments, it didn't get personal Bob. Stupid yes, personal no.
IMO there have been worse comments made on a certain football related thread in OOB but its alive if not well.
Strange world indeed.

Greig did you watch the video, do you think this is what he was trying to say.

I didn't mate. I honestly don't care what he was getting at. I tried putting one handed last night and then two handed - guess what? I was gash with one hand.
Was speaking to the faither this morning and we were discussing the theory... His exact words (30 years as a pro speaking) Bullocks! Total bullocks.

How did this end up in website feedback, it's hardly feedback is it? I'll have an ounce of what the mod was smoking!

It certainly didn't seem as bad as a lot on here so surprised it got pulled but I'm sure the mods had a reason

Yes, I did turn a little nasty to one particular poster who asked what all this rubbish was all about when referring to my pendulum thread.

I was however very surprised that the entire thread was pulled instead of my slightly emotional comment.

I was saying that there are many strange putting techniques - cack-handed, belly, breast, chin, claw etc - but the most natural pendulum motion with one hand is not one that is being used.

I, for one, would prefer to use this technique but the masses look upon such golfers as having some kind of problem. There must be a reason why nobody uses this natural technique but I personally don't think its because putting with two hands is easier.

I dont understand why, if you maintain that one handed putting is better, you don't use this technique.
You imply that it is others' reactions that prevent you using one hand, which is odd, as you don't strike me as lacking in confidence.

If I were to perform or teach one handed putting many golfers would automatically not come to me for lessons. That's the plain truth and I have to adjust to the status quo.

Patrick57, No one knows who you are, and quite frankly i don't really care. Your posts are quite far out there, i think you are smoking some funny stuff, or its a wind up. Why on earth would you talk about something that you cant/won't teach. I personally think you are talking balderdash, IMO

This is going nowhere and as a result is getting locked. Feel free to start another thread on the pro's & con's of putting one handed.
