As you say , I wouldn't worry too much about the info being out there but understand your natural concerns.

Ten out of ten to the scammer for having the dilligence to dig the thread out and contacting all the people who contributed to it. Fairly smart.

Think Mike (or whoever is deputising in his absence) is going to have a nightmare sorting this one out tommorrow...as is poor old Paula

yea but I don't get the fact that she claims to have been unable to contact any of us by email, my email certainly isn't experiencing any problems at the moment and I doubt any one else's is so there is no reason why someone wouldn't have received one if it were indeed genuine. And if it were her email account that was faulty she would have found out about that soon enough to be able to rectify the situation. I am not particularly worried any more though as like I said its all in the yellow pages anyway it can't be that harmful. I still feel like a part though lol. I am impressed with your immediate caution though Tony- it's gotta be that marines training!

Bloody hell, wish I'd been a bit more cautious.

I do remember reading about souvenirs from the Masters so assumed it to be genuine, although I too was a bit mystified how she couldn't get through on my e mail address.

I just hope it's true and genuine.

I guess there's a good chance we'll find out if it is genuine when the real Paula gets in the office tomorrow.

Yes, the PMs are genuine. I work as the editorial assistant at GM, but must admit have never used the forum before!

Sorry for all the confusion, but goodies will be sent out today.

As for the missing emails, I sent two, and no-one received them, I must get on to IT about that.

Just to set the record straight(er)

I can confirm that I have had a reply from Paula at GM to my home account and it is therefore genuine.

Anyone else out there (maybe at work who hasn't got access to their home accounts just at the moment) put your minds at rest. It's fine.
