A pound for 15 minutes on street parking in Glasgow City centre , maximum stay 2 hours. Thankfully we don't go into the city centre for lunch often.
Do you think this is reasonable, what's the parking charges in your area ?

When charges are that high they are effectively telling you not to take your car there. They want you to take public transport or park in a car park away from a particular area.

We have disk parking in council owned car parks in Northumberland. In Newcastle it isn't bad in the car parks, around £1.50 first hour, £3.50 for 4 hours or similar. I can think of the odd street in Newcastle centre that may be similar to that quoted but I would not take my car there so I am not sure.

City centre parking is a £1 an hour at the moment round us, great for the shops in the area I guess, while public transport is less of an option.

Not so great on traffic levels and pollution however, hopefully balance can be restored one day soon so we can keep moving towards a private car free city centre.

Tesco - free
Asda -free
Aldi -free
Sundays - Council Car parks free

I cannot remember the last time I used a car park where I had to pay but is was something like £1.50 for 2 hours for the near centre council run car parks and higher fees for the private town centre one.

Depending on time and zone, up to £6 an hour plus surcharge if pre 2015 diesel/ just is a diesel.
I guess they dont like trades in London.....if youre trying to use a road where they allow vehicles now and aren't powered by pixie dust.
