Paquiao vs Mayweather!!

Definitely a few years too late and I'm not sure Manny has it in the locker anymore to beat Mayweather, unfortunately. Will still watch it though.

Can't see past a Floyd win on points but would love to see Pac put him on his backside.

The bookies have it as mayweather clear favourite.
Hope they're wrong but can't see it.
Does anyone want mayweather to win?

About 8 years too late

A last big pay day for both

Mayweather knows Manny isn't the same fighter he was so happy to fight him now

Expect it to be a 12 round bore with Mayweather winning on points

Nail on head here Phil.
Would have been a much better fight when both were in their prime.
Manny as nothing to lose now as he's not expected to win.

That's the thing with boxing nowadays, half the time the top fighters and their 'advisors' put more energy into avoiding their main rival than actually fighting.

The fans want to see the fighters take each other on in their prime. Not after they've made millions and at the tale end of their career.

Not much respect for them that duck the big fights to protect their record and product value.

Totally agree with previous post. Far too late and just a big pay day. Mayweather to win but would love pacman to kick his ass.

Read this BBC sport article earlier - good summing up on where boxing is now which is sad. Agree this fight is at least 5 years too late and will be so over hyped its bound to come up well short. Pacquaio would have won 5 yrs ago but now it'll be a dull points win for Floyd and they both make a fortune.

Everyone knows May's a protected fighter in Vegas.
Why have the moniker of ''Money May'' and fight in a 16,000 capacity hotel when you can make so much more if you had the fight like say at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium. A place that could fit between 80,000 to 100,000 fans.

I'm guessing one of May's demands will be the huge ring size he always fights in. Easier to run, but I don't think he realises how good the Pacman is at cutting off his opponent. Look what happened to Algeri.

There's also no rematch clause, so I'm predicting May to be running all 12 rounds and obviously getting the decision. But if Pacman does get the knockout, you can bet May begging for the rematch.

Mayweather doesn't have the knockout punch power to KO manny so it'll be a 12 bore ending in a UD for mayweather.

Very skillful fighter but not as exciting as others out there. Bit like Andre Ward.

Agree this should've happened at least 4 years ago but as always boxing politics runs things.

It isn't as appealing as it once was but regardless, anyone with a passing interest will still want to watch it, whether they pay though is another matter, and that's the difference. Should have happened a long time ago.

The boxing scene is proper dodgy and many a fight have been called as such but this one....they don't need the money. Surely either one of them will be wanting to slap the other firmly on their arse and walk away with the bragging rights. Oh how Floyd would hate that...

I think the £60+ PPV price is the US cost equivalent not UK.

Now I'm hearing its strictly drug testing by USADA, who again obviously protects Mayweather. Not one punch has been thrown but its already starting to be lob-sided. :mmm:

Next demand will be for Pac to fight orthodox only..
