Sorry if the title mislead you!!

I have a set of graphite clubs with yellow shafts. But id prefer them to be red. So I was wondering if its possible to do such a thing and if so which paint would be best

Cheers

There is a product on the market called `Skins` a vinyl that covers shafts. Gene Fulton does it and he is based in Leicester, but currently in Germany for a few days... ;)

Red ?

was thinking the same, im guessing the shafts are in yellow because their a specific model. i couldnt care what colour my shafts are if they work well, im guessing that outside layers may have an effect on the shafts performance as such too...

A guy I used to work with tried this for a junior. The shaft had been cut down almost half way and looked a bit ropey so he asked if we could paint it white, looked cool until he used it, the bend in the shaft caused the paint to crack and flake off. I'd stick to the shaft skins if you're gonna go ahead with this. Think there are some available on eBay
