Is there any chance of an update from the 2 fellas who had the Wilson Custom fitting? Was just wondering if your new bats have arrived yet, and if so are they any good? Are the tips you got from Paddy working?

No shiney new sticks yet. 
Not had time to put the paddy tips into practice yet. I was away for the best part of last week, and haven't played golf since our fitting. Playing in our monthly Medal this Saturday, so hopefully they might save me a few shots.

Apologies for the delay in replying, we're having a new kitchen fitted and our house is in turmoil.
I got a call from Wilson on Friday (5th) - the new clubs should be with me in 10 - 14 days.
I've played once since the Wilson day - I had 36 points, we won our fourball betterball game 3&2 and I came third in the swindle. My driving was good, my iron play better than it has been and my chipping was OK. Too many three putts (which he selfishly didn't help me with
So, his tips did help for me. I'm certainly better balanced in my stance and I've shifted my weight onto my left side for chip shots. I'm still freezing on pressure shots, rather than keeping the fluidity of the practice swing going but I guess that'll take time.
The sad thing is that winter's here now so my games will become few and far between.
