Oversized putter grips

Hi,
Have one on a couple of putter but have gone back to a standard grip i'd say they are great for anyone who is a bit wristy but do take out all the feel.
Mike

Thanks mike. My biggest concern was about feel for pace but steve assured me he had no problems. I'll give it a go and if it doesn't work I can always change back. Nothing ventured... :)

Really love the feel of these grips, gives you something to hold on to instead of those thin pistol grips you get as standard with most putters.

Think they have stopped making them but still quite a few around on ebay or gamola golf etc.

You can get them in yellow and orange too!

I had a look at one of the specialist thicker grips but didn't get it as I thought it was hugely overpriced. I can't remember the brand but it was about £40 I think.

Anyway, I have achieved the same effect by putting a squash racket grip over my existing grip and it is fantastic. Really tacky, even when damp and it gives precisely the same desired effect.

Give it a try! Just make sure it is a uniform surface all the way down otherwise it contravenes the rules...

Cheers,

Snelly.

Crikey!! Snelly and I agree on something........ :)

I've got a belly putter and a standard length putter and I added a Karakal squash grip to both and the feel is superb.

The whole lot cost no more than £10.

As has been said, it doesn't really matter what you use, as long as it's successful.
