Out of bounds on your course ?

10 holes which could have OOB with the perimeter of the course (definately 8, but you'd have to pretty wild to go OOB on the other 2, although I've seen it done), 2 with internal OOB which never really come into play.

Left on the 1st as the road runs parrallel but it would be quite incredible if you ended up on it and also right as the driving range is in between the 1st and the 18th. A bit easier to find, but only if you're a longer hitter.
3rd has the same road as the 1st, but as you're heading back it's on the right and again would be quite a hit to reach it.
The 4th has an internal OOB onto the 5th fairway, but completely and utterly randomly there is no OOB on the 4th if you hit onto it from the 5th and also if you manage to clear the 5th fairway and end up on the far side in the 2nd cut that isn't OOB. It's literally just on the fairway.
6th has the same road on the left as the 1st and 3rd, but again would be the hook to end all hooks to reach it.
10th has a path/track road all down the right
18th has the driving range on the right

11 holes on ours have OOB. One internal OOB on 15th which is a sharpish dogleg which stops players driving back down the 14th which would be an option and would obviously be very dangerous. I don't have an issue with internal OOB really provided it is necessary but agree some courses seem to have them for the sake of it.

No internal OOB. OOB right down the 1st but you have to be fairly wild to get there, and through the back is also OOB. OOB right down the 3rd which is easily doable, and through the back too but you'd have to really airmail the green. OOB right down the 9th, easily achievable. OOB left down 13 and 14, getting there would require a huge hook on 13 and much less of a hook on 14. OOB on right on 17, but it's a par 3 and would require quite a slice.

At my course we have OOB on every hole on the front 9 , on the back 9 we have 3 . But if you're really wild on the back 9 theres another 2 that can be OOB .

How many holes with OOB on your course. ??????.

PS . I only discovered there was an OOB on our 3rd hole when Virtuocity screamed his drive 240yds to the left over the water hazard onto the second fairway.Great drive Dave but sorry OOB thats me 1 up

Most of our holes have boundary fences that are OOB. There are two internal OOB, one to the left of the dogleg par-5 7th hole to stop people driving onto the 8th fairway as a short cut, and one to the right of the 9th to protect the green keepers' compound, which are fair enough I suppose. :)

We have 4 holes with OB. 12th and 14th where the practice ground comes into play for those who are really wild - like me. See the OB on the 12th a few times

Then the 13th and 18th have OB behind the greens as they are both next to the clubhouse.

Course has the usual boundaries as well as the river which is in play on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 8th.

Eight holes, our first five run clockwise along the course boundary before cutting back inside, the boundary then comes back into close proximity to the back of the 12th, then the 17th and 18th pick up the boundary fence again!

Course boundary on the landward side is all OOB but really only comes into play up the 9th, 17th and 18th. The seaward side is all a lateral water hazard, plenty of pars get made from the beach:).

The only internal OOB is the course boundary to the kiddies course on the 16th.
