I see our boy Sam is off to a fast start. Hope he can keep it up.

Was watching European Tour Weekly last night and was showing some warm up stuff from East London. Look lovely and hot and sunny..........wasn't jealous at all!!

he is a birdie machine. 7 in the first 11 holes and that's been sort of typical for him in all the tour events he has played. However becuase he attacks the flag so much he does rack up the odd bogey or double

So did he get to the 12th and think " Ah that'll do for today"? All pars from the 12th home?

Still a good round though.

Good to see young Irish player Niall Kearney doing well too (level par after 13 holes).

I believe it is his first tour event (could be wrong).........
