Original songs but the cover version is the better known one.

I remember when I first saw that....just blew me away.... even "the boys" loved it.

To take something that iconic, in front of its remaining creators, and get the response it did from the professional musicians in the audience and the band members themselves is absolutely amazing. I never tire of watching it.

A song sung by many different artists down the years. I've picked my two fav renditions. The first is just beautiful, the second one being just a little different but it does show how we can all come together. Its starts a little karaoke but does improve.

It's not that the original isn't known, it's just that Celine is more of a household name, so if you asked a hundred people who sang Power of Love, probably more of them would say Celine.

No, a third would say Huey Lewis and the News and another third would say Frankie Goes to Hollywood. The Jennifer Rush song is by far the worst song called The Power of Love. ;)

That is a bare-faced lie! J.Rush song is the best of those three, followed by Huey Lewis, followed by Frankie.

Then of course there are versions that are best forgotten

Rod Stewart is, for me, the best 'interpreter' of songs by other folk! Here's another cracker!
And the original
And the original

I do like Rod but he does not always improve on the original. Exhibit 1 your honour ;)

Original. Classic.

Rod Cover. Not so good.
