As a twist on Doon's reworked/covers thread, how about one for songs where there's a better known version, but there's also the original, which is better?

Walk this Way, guessing most think of Run DMC not Aerosmith (not sure it counts though as Aerosmith were in the Run DMC version)
 
Not technically a cover since they co-wrote the song and Bruce Hornsby played piano on the original Don Henley recording. Also very difficult to determine the better version, or better known version. I loved the original when it came out but I think I tend to lean towards the Bruce Hornsby version personally. Either way two top versions.


 
Natalie Imbruglia - Torn. I didn't even know that was a cover until about two years ago.

Power of Love (I'm your lady you are my man one) - I think plenty of people just think of that as Celine Dion. But the original Jennifer Rush version is fantastic.
