Does anyone know the difference between these two shafts? The NVS 55R was my favorite for years but I think it's been discontinued. Is the NVS NXT 55R basically the same?

A shaft I to used to play and a love.
From the Aldila website it appears to be a different manufacturing process to make the same shaft with a better way of removing the variance between each shaft. It is worth noting from the pictures that the word NXT does not appear on the shaft and is only in brackets in the description.

Thanks for your reply. I went to their site too, but I'm hoping to hear from someone who has played both shafts. Can I assume the NVS NXT will perform the same as the original NVS?
