Orca's in the Clyde

Its amazing seeing them, lucky enough to have seen them of Orkney a few years ago,

They even appear in the Moray firth from time to time, but quite far out and can't seen be seen of the shore.

Seeing Orcas in the wild is an amazing site - been lucky to see them when I was in Benbecula and also down in the Falklands - stunning animals

Great to see.
We have a seal in The Mersey in Warrington , not quite the same wow factor but considering how dirty the river was until fairly recently a triumph
for conservation.

Life got in the way, but we did managed to get down to Dunure last night to se a beautiful sunset.
No Orcas though, I am told this pod tend to stay close to the west side of Arran, yesterday was a perfect day for whale watching.
Seems they did a reverse 'doon the watter' day and headed for the big city.

Hopefully they take a good few hundred seals for breakfast lunch and dinner. Give me a better chance of catching some mackerel once the water warms a bit more.

Saw them from McInroy's point yesterday just past Gourock.

Amazing animals - such a shame they're most widely known for being killers that live in glass cages. Blackfish was a real eye-opener, as is the testimony of Phil Demers (listen to Joe Rogan's series of podcasts with him if you're interested). Grossly mis-treated by Seaworld and Marine Land as a species, it's horrendous.
