....and it's also bonus month at work, so I like a fool, I will be a easily parted with my money! Yeah baby, it's shopping time. Won't be going crazy (I have a Red Stripe dependency which costs a fortune) but there are a few things I've kept an eye on. Need to decide which of the following to have a splurge on...

On the hit list this month;

  • Putter (naturally - loads I want to try, randomly a Yes! Victoria II with heavy shaft is no. 1)
  • Hybrid (Adams Super S is the leading contender)
  • GPS thingy (it would be handy to know how far it is out of the jungle and back to the fairway)
  • Clicgear 3.5 Trolley (I'm getting older - not as old as some of you old farts mind, but I'm getting lazier and since being married in August, most definitely getting FATTER.)
  • Lessons! (Took advantage of a recent Groupon deal and had a couple of lessons, already paying dividends with better ball striking. A boring purchase, but maybe it will win Homer's love and affection).
  • Oakleys (maybe they'll be cheaper in winter? And it's obligatory for a high handicapping hacker [boom - that is alliteration, and now a double bracket] to have all the gear and no idea).

I'm thinking a new putter is a standard purchase for me, so what shall be unnecessarily purchased? Will give the Adams a smash tomorrow and find out...

Come Monday i'll be calling the Citizens Advice Bureau....

I'd put them in this order:

Hybrid (fav club to hit, they are like having a magic wand in your bag)
Putter (most used club)
Oakley's (just because you've got to [and because I wanted to use double brackets too] I've even got an Oakley cart bag)
Trolly (who really wants to carry)
GPS (these are going to tumble in price next year so hold off)

Lessons (only if you must and the above are out of stock)

:D

I wonder where those Oakleys look better? Mauritius or Leeds?? ;)

They will keep the sleet out of your eyes in Leeds I spose!! :)

If you are going to be "lazy" get a trolley with a battery. Never got my head around those massive clic gear push chair things.
