Top 3 for me (in no particular order) have to be Del falling through the bar, the chandelier and Batman and Robin.
Hiding behind the curtains from the Driscoll bruvvers upstairs in the nags head and the aerial of the phone goes up into Dels nose. Laughed until it hurt the first time I saw it back in the day.
Uncle Albert - During the 1939 to 45 conflict with Germany........

lots of people would agree with you hacker! I meant comedy's and Sherlock is rubbish.btw the sopranos is as racist a TV show you will ever see! So get of your high hoarse!Thank you for that critical appraisal of TV nowadays. I agree, I often sit watching shows like The Wire, The Sopranos, House of Cards, The Killing, Broadchurch, Line of Duty, Veep and Sherlock and think, god, this is rubbish, if only I could see some shows about those hilarious racial stereotypes from the 70s it would be a lot better.

Too many great moments and watchable even now with the repeats , The mafia boss thing was great with the jet ski and other stuff
this is where I disagree, I find any of these very successful shows pale badly when they take them out of the environment that made them successful and plonk them elsewhere with ridiculous scenarios.
I offer up for cross examination....;
Minder.....on the Orient Express
Are you being served......in a Spanish Hotel
Only fools and Horses.....in Miami
Morecambe and Wise.....in the Riviera and Latin America
I'm sure there's more but these stand out
See post 21:thup:There is but i mention something that that had not been posted , the bar one where he fell over is no 1
What about The Simpsons HomerWay too many to list. Aside from the side splitting comedy gems Sullivan was superb at pathos too. I love the scene at Rodney's wedding where he's left in the function room. disco still playing, and they dub in voices of his mum as he takes the groom off the wedding cake. So simple and so brilliant
