One player versus two competition!!

I am organising a Student v Teacher Golf competition. Due to the low number of teachers signed up and the high number of students wanting to play I am proposing that two students play against one teacher.
I am considering the students play foursomes as betterball would give a clear advantage. Also, I will have to make some handicap adjustments.

Any suggestions re format and handicapping??

Why not have player A play the odd holes and player b play the even holes ?

If there are some actual high handicappers involved, they could also play a scramble vs. one teacher off scratch.

Play as three balls - matchplay, with a teacher playing each of two students at the same time

Students play better ball v teacher. That way everyone gets to play a full 18 and contribute.
