ONE PLANE OR TWO PLANE SWING

I try to swing on a plane but I have a nasty habit of coming over the top on the downswing.
Really is the main problem in my game. Anybody got any suggestions?I Will try and video my swing some time next week and put it up

A lot of us do this , some don't realise they're doing it. A good mental tip I read for this is when you are at the top of the backswing think of being a 'church bell ringer' - sounds daft but think about it... try it, you would pull the bell cord straight down close to your side, not throw your right shoulder out and you would also start down slowly and speed up, not quick from the start which is often the reason for casting.

This is a great tip for a two plane swing where you need to let your arms and hands catch up and get back on plane in the downswing.

when i was a two planer I used to use this. I'd think of pulling my hands down into my right hand pocket as my weight shifted to the left side.
