Any of you folk played here before. I'm playing there tomorrow for the first time. Just interested what the course is like and if anybody has any tips etc....

Played it New Years day a few years ago and it was -7!
It was pretty much all white so I'd struggle to remember much apart from the 17th (I think) a Par 5 with a fairway that dips and rises like a rollercoaster!
Good welcome in the shop and the clubhouse afterwards.

I've played it. Didn't tax me too much, went round in 82 with some fairly dodgy play.
I remember some of it quite well.
Don't pull your wedge (3rd shot) into the 2nd....nasty bunkers await, better right than left.
I took one club too much to the par 3 4th.
Don't go mad off the 5th tee.....an iron is plenty. I had 50 yards on a 280 yard hole with a 4 iron.....
The 7th is deceptive, again I took too much club fearing the bunker.
Watch out for the ditch on the 13th. I went with a fairway wood i.i.r.c.
The 17th and 18th are great! I stuffed it long and left on the last and needed two good putts just to save a bogey.
There's a lovely par 4 (12th maybe?) with tall trees around the green. I was so worried about the o.o.b. right, I hooked it onto the 15th fairway - you'll like that hole.
I liked it, although it was scruffy that day. There is a great par 5 (8th?) where you don't need to be greedy but stay left.

No worries, I hope you enjoy it. It's not tricked up at all, you don't have to be arrow straight, most fairways are forgiving.

Never had the best if rounds. Finished with 27 points but I enjoyed the day in the sun. I never thought much of the course. There's some crazy holes and some really nice holes. There greens were not very good but still really enjoyed my day which is the main thing.
