Not much of a lead to go back to Cardiff with. I can see this finishing 1-0 to Cardiff at home and then the fun'll start with ET and pens

you should be ok as finalists get about 35,000 for the Carling cup final, whereas only 20 odd thousand for the FA cup.
I'm going tomorrow, so would be ok for a final ticket if we get through.

is carling cup ran same way allocation for champs league used to be. had to have a certain amount of points by attending earlier rounds? or does it go on normal league games as well.. not that i been for 2 years though

Lots of controversy over that, and there will be, if we get the final.
It's based on games you have been in that competition only. Members (not season ticket holders) who had been to a previous round got priority over season ticket holders who had not. So you can have the scenario where a season ticket holder who goes all the away league games also (totalling 68 games) nut not to the cup games has less priority over a member who might have only been to one carling cup game.
