Played in a stableford roll up yesterday, didn't play well, scraped 29 points and was really looking forward to yet another .1 going on the handicap

13 guys in Div 3 and I only went and won it ( after countback) ,

It's nice to win, but it's also nice to do it with a bit of panache , in this case it's that I played slightly less badly than the others

Imurg got 32 points for 3rd in his div, he called me a rude name

What's your worst win ?

I won a golf society day with 28 points once. Twenty five people and I had broken the shaft of my pitching wedge in the morning practice. It was raining though.

I can only think no-one else was comfortable in the rain.

Won a board comp on a day when it persisted it down and CSS rose to 72; par 71.

Dropped 13 to the turn & would have happily walked in but one of my FC's had a score going. Played for respectability over back nine but somehow only dropped 3 shots; gross 87 nett 68, won by 2 shots.

Embarrassing as I was prepared to quit at halfway. By the way the FC blew up on second nine.
