Nearly 30 years living in the sarf and I still don't understand why the natives treat this like it's some kind of delicacy.

its just a staple! any club not offering it should have their WHS membership withdrawn until the put it back on the menu

Remember that CR was the same as CSS in CONGU for many years prior to WHS. The exception being England Men who used the USGA system a few years prior to WHS.
But of course both CSS & CR are based on a 'model' scratch player. Slope is, in effect, based on a 'model' bogey player.

Isn't CR the same as SSS not CSS....?

6 under to tie, 7 under to win👍🏻
Under handicap that is, not par right?

Anywho. I still think allowing over 36 handicap was silly. But that's not a WHS thing as we've been told many times - I just didn't know where else to post this. He won't have been allowed to claim the win since he doesn't have enough comp rounds*, so it's the second placed guy who will go on the honours board. Who also happens to be the current captain. Alfie has been cut from 53.5 to 48.2.

*rule is eight qualifying cards including four competition ones in the last 12 months, or something like that.

Yep, under his handicap.
No issue with him playing in comps under your rules, more Clubs should have rules like this imo. 👍🏻

Interestingly, the chap who finished last in this competition scored only 15 points from a PH of 30. It was the first round on his record since July 2023 - but I'm sure no one will kick up a fuss about his handicap being too low for him. 👀
