odyssey two ball

Ive used one for a while, just changed to a scotty.

They are good putters, no doubt, whether it is a good putter for you is a different matter

Suggest you go to a pro shop that has a few on display, try them out on the putting green, look at different shaft lengths,

take guidence from the pro as to what would suit, but you have to try out a club as its a very personal thing.

Got one and love it for 10 feet and in, still not happy over the longer putts though, might be the soft face as it needs a fair old whack.

will do tryed one out a will ago on a small mat. felt really easy to line up. is it very hard from long range though because im usually a long way off with my approaches.

As you can see from my sig its in the bag.
Had it for a few years now and it isn't something I would be looking to change. Probably better for a pendulum putting style (which mine is)rather than in to out with the two ball Alignment.
I usually chip if I am any more than a yard off the green, (see sig) but I can see the point about long putts needing a bit of a hit especially on a slow green

Very similar in design & also out the odyssey stable is the Marxman putter I have the blade version of this & cannot praise it enough - anything within 10' tends to drop right in & I just find it edges it over the 2ball in aesthetics although a lot may hate its looks.

I have the one with the steel insert in the face, good at any distance ;)

Which 2-ball?
You've got blade and mallet versions of White Hot, Xg, White Ice or Black.
There's DFX too, and Backstryke.
Centre shafted as well...........
I had the same issue as Homer. Short putts were great.
Distance control? Those two words didn't sit well together.

Had the same 2-ball putter for the last 10 years and despite trying out pretty much everything going at some time or other I wouldnt swap it. Short putts it lines up a treat and i've had no problems at all with distance control or I would have changed it by now.

Had one in the bag for 3 years now - really like it - have a centre shafted one which made a real difference in getting my eyes over the line of the putt and also keeping the putter parallel to the ground.

thanks lads and imurg its the 2002 one which i spose is the 1st version ya. feels really nice. i might get it today if my dad will drive me over.
thanks
