Are they the dogs? After watching golf this weekend I noticed a number of pro's use them and I know peeps on here also do. Would you recommend them or not?

I had one before my current putter and yes they were excellent on short range putts, very easy to line up but I struggled with it on longer putts, finding it difficult to get the right weight, particularly on fast greens.

My model is a few years old but I love it, I much prefer the look of the orthodox putter but the two ball seems to work for me.
I went back to my 2 ball a couple of months ago. It does work well for short puts, but as someone else said, I struggle with it on long putts.
I have a Sabertooth on it's way to me, so will be interesting to see how I get on with that.

Hi,
I had one found it hard to use on windy days it felf like it was getting blown about but easy to line up on the short puttts.

I had one for a while. Pug ugly. Putted well with it, but got fed up of looking at it. Had the DFX black insert, which is a bit firmer, and easier to judge on long putts than the white version.

A couple of my mates bought them shortly after they started becoming really fashionable.
At first we cursed them because they were canning putts left, right and centre.
Now they are back to being just average putters and miss just as many as the rest of us.

Interesting... I like the look of the black version but my Tiffany is kinda the same principal but with more weight.

I had one which had the blade type face and the 2 ball behind so I guess the best of both world

Unfortunately it was while I was putting poorly and before my lesson rescued my putting so I didn't really do it justice. It was great from short range as the two balls do help alignment but I struggled especially on wet or winter greens to get it to the hole on longer putts

It is a great book, I read "golf is not a game of perfect" and it really helped my scores so picked up this book shortly after and whilsst I havent finshed it either it has still helped me on and around the greens.
Bit of a post hijack but do you believe in the theory that its just as good for you to sit and think for 15minutes about putts you've as it is to actually stand on a putting green trying to hole them?

Not sure about that one. I guess it comes down to if you spend 15 minutes holing putts, or 15 minutes trying to hole them. If it's the latter, you are probably better off thinking about ones you have holed, than missing new ones.
I am exactly the same, I love it for lining up as I can see a white line streak of the putting stroke and it helps me see the line beyond the ball. Longer putts are difficult for me though, say anything over 20 feet I always seem to rush past though that might not be the putter

I always felt the ball was jumping off the face due to the type of insert, I’m not sure. I personally like the feel of metal against the ball.

I had a few years back,it was great from inside 6-7 feet,other than that it wasnt any better than any other putter.

Sabertooth lover here, although of late i've been very poor on the greens I still love it to bits and would recommend one to anybody.

Still got my original one I bought back in about 1999 , wouldnt be without it. Shame you cant get the face redone as its starting to get a sllightly marked through all the use
