Odyssey owners

I have a Odyssey 2 ball putter just about a year now tho the last few rounds i see that the white balls are starting to show a crack or two. has anyone else came across this with there putter?

If so do you know if it can be fixed??

I've had mine about 9/10 years now and theres hardly a mark on the face , havnt heard about the top cracking up either , sorry

Had mine about the same length of time and no signs of any problems.

my dad had his for about 3 years and the only thing wrong with his face was there was a little sharp splint in the face

Where did yo purchase it from, and dont take offence but can you be sure it is a genuine Odyssey? Obv if you bought if from a reputable seller then your fine but if it was an ebau job or similar that might explain something.

How long have you had it for?

I have the No.7 about 12 months old, no bother at all.

I've had mine for about 3 years and no problems with it other than it doesn't get the ball in the hole quick enough

I own the 2 ball putter for about 4-5 years now. No problems with mine.

You say about a year old, I would contact Callaway Golf...

As long as its genuine and purchased fron a retailer, you will be able to return it to be fixed, or even a new one sent out.

I will get some pics up..

My mate got it for me from a golf store in the states..

Has serial number and all on it.. its just the white balls on the top have a crack on them rest of the putter is fine..

Might be worth saying to them about it.. try and get a few snaps of it tonight and post them up.

Hendy, do you use a head cover for it? I am wondering if you may be pushing it into the bag too hard and its hitting your other clubs. Even with a head cover, this would and could damage the top of the putter where the two balls are.

use the head cover on it..

thats a pic the front ball has a hair line crack as well..

think i am drop them a email maybe along with the serial number for the club..

Nothing ventured and all that but playing devils advocate they'll probably say natural wear and tear or caused by not using the headcover/replacing it too vigourously

Callaway will replace it no problem.

I know a guy at the golf club who had his Odyssey for about four years (not a 2-ball though) and the face started to do that. Callaway replaced his putter there and then after a phone call from the Pro.

Funny this came up, after I mentioned mine was OK, I met up with my Cousin on Friday evening for a game, have not played golf with him for a while now. Well to my amazement, his 2 ball putter was damaged, half of one of the white ball was missing, he did not care, as only plays in summer and a few times at that, well he is a GreenKeeper, place of work and all that.

I will do the same for him, get seriel No and Picture and see if anything can be doen, though will add, he does not use Head Cover.......come on guys, its not Rocket Science, they are provided for a reason
