Had to create a new thread to comment about the Godzilla ad as the advert ironically prevents me commenting on the other threads.
Surely the obstructive adverts are going against what the companies and GM are trying to achieve? Said companies are advertising on this forum to raise the profile of their product/service. To have an advert that interferes with the user experience surely only creates negative connotations?
A lot of members have Ad-block. Assuming GM derives income from advertising, then surely it is in their interests to enable their advertising partners to reach the highest number of users? It's lose/lose at the minute and not exactly savvy for attracting future business. I can't believe it can be a GM policy for Mods to advocate installing Ad-block.
Perhaps one of those Mods could move this to one of the other threads. And maybe feedback to powers that be.
