just looking for a change of ball have been using nike one black but not getting along with it at the min and there exspensive to lose hoping for a bit of feedback on the titelist nxt extreme thanks

Same as pinnacle extremes as far as I could see, made by the same company too (acushnet) they travel ok though dont stop as quickly as some of the softer slightly more expensive balls.

I prefer the NXT Tour to the extreme, just feels better when hit from 50 in. Not much to choose between them outside of that.

I think that brendy has a point here, I have been told that the only difference between the titleist and pinnacle is the poseur fact of them simply having the name titleist on them ups the price.

From what i gather its prov1 or prov1x if your good/rich then NXTtours which i use as i cant afford to lose prov1X, or them srixon ad333 which everyone is rating. there the best players balls. if your learning anything cheap

I buy Callaway Warbirds for £11-12 a dozen, losing less of them lately, though I am touching wood, grasping a rabbit foot and typing this with crossed fingers.

I read somewhere you should stick to one ball when learning as it removes one variable.

Although all the rangeballs I hit defeats that argument.

I'm liking the Taylor Made TP Reds I'm using at the moment.

Really nice feel to them. Give a low, penetrating trajectory from my drives. (essential on links this time of year)
And about £9 a sleeve.

Not sure if anyone has ever tried an obscure ball called an Inesis TD tour. They are french and only sold through a chain of stores called Decathlon (and there ain't many of them around the country, the one I use is in Nottingham). I heard about these on another forum (yes I used to post elsewhere) and have been using them ever since. I kid you not, they are up there is quality with the best (Titleist included) but only cost £15.00 per dozen. If you get a chance to try some or have a Decathlon store near you, I urge you to give them a go. They really are a total bargain.

I used Warbirds and got totally addicted to the distance they give, but changed to AD333 after someone advised me to on here, I have never looked back and only play AD333s now, £40 for 3 dozen (2008 model) on fleabay & free p+p.
