Not hit a golf ball in over 3 weeks

I'll happily admit that I'm more-often-than-not a fair weather golfer. So I haven't been able to get out in over 3 weeks as I would usually go after work but either the weather has been bad or I've not had time.


The weekends are a similar story. Trips back to Lincolnshire for various things and the in-laws visiting this weekend have meant no golf.

STILL haven't managed to play a single comp at my new home course since joining at the beginning of april.

Ridiculous :angry:

(No real point to this thread, other than any improvement I'd made in the last few months has probably been wasted)

In brighter news, the new range at my place is finally open.

Best get on that new range and fire some down it. At least you can keep something going while you wait for summer to arrive in October

If only i could go that long without a game!!

Played twice on Sat, club match on Sunday and have got a tie tonight.

only time i've had a break longer than a week was when i hurt my back last year.

i quite like a break. I've only had a one hour practice session in the last 2 weeks and have a tie tonight, am really looking forward to it. A break gives you the chance to forget about it for a while and come back refreshed. Does y game a lot of good

it might of done you some good, next time your out you'll be much more relaxed and less expectant, i had a 3 week break through mid/end of may and went out and shot a PB next bounce game.
