sorry folks. it happened today. first ever hole in one!


me, liverbirdie, odvan and our mate glen chopped it round in the wind. on the 13th glen stuck it to 5 feet. last thing I heard was "you'll do well to put it inside that"

145yards, downwind. 9iron.

I went to the club last night to work on hitting some fades instead of my hard pull draws. found a little something about swinging left! concentrated on hitting the same shots I was doing on our praccy ground last night. worked a treat.

slight fade, came down soft, rolled , disappeared! :p

Ps im im sure you said when I played there, the shot was to push a low 8 into the green. What happened...?

cheers lad! we thought my bro got a hole in one at concra on the 6th. he went straight at the flag, one bounce then disappeared. the high fives and hugs were doled out before we noticed the ball had gone into the dip in the green behind the hole and resurfaced 15 feet behind the hole! :o

happened for real today. weird feeling. completely against the run of play ! :mad:

lol well remembered. it is still the smart shot. I spent most of the day trying to get this new swing going. the 9i was the club I was hitting on our practise ground last night so I though it was the perfect club for the distance and wind. so it was!

always thought I would scab one but I couldn't have hit that any better! :o

Yep, I know.......me and Bill were waiting on next tee watching you lot tee off and seen the ball land behind the pin and thought you lot had low expectations getting that excited just hitting a green :p

phil has just chipped in for birdie on si 1 then that happened. it was a crazy few minutes. then back to reality with a bang when we spotted the ball looking back at us.
