I would like to say avid golfer but my enthusiasm is definitely waning a bit just now. Hopefully it is temporary and I'll get my mojo back once we get into better weather.

Yes same here! Haven't played for a good few months for a number of reasons, but when it's cold and very wet underfoot, I really cannot be arsed to play!

Fell away from golf when I went to uni xx years ago but returned within a few years. Stopped playing in the mid 80's for a couple of months due to the most horrendous slice ever invented. 50+ years and still playing.

I can't imagine why you'd be on here if you've never once played golf. Can understand those who have played and fallen out of it for whatever reason. I only registered on here when I started getting back into golf and got the bug again.

Physical injury/disability that prevents someone from playing, but still love watching it on tv?

Play 2- 3 times per week (limited only because, for some bizarre reason, the good lady wife, wants my company for some of the week?). Currently on holiday but still looking forward to a game with a forum member at the weekend :)

So wondering how many others on here, like me, don't actually play the game, seems like loads of people post in Out of Bounds yet rarely post in The Lounge.
Let's poll.....;)

If you don't actually play the game, why have you not voted. 😳

Very active 👍 shift work allows me to play a lot 🏌🏿‍♂️

Currently out injured due to a broken 4th metacarpal, probably wont be back til late May.

I have played once in 18 months +. literally zero interest in the game, no time, no desire. All my stuff is there gathering dust for the if and when i fancy it. Now into sill stuff like swimming, bike riding and running...

I like it here though!

Usually play both days at weekends unless really bad weather or a family commitment. Play another two evenings through the lighter nights. Fairly fine with the missus as she plays too. Play as much as possible, or go to the range if I can't.

93%+ actively playing is pretty darn good. Beauty of golf is that you can potentially play for many decades.
I imagine for other sports with internet discussion forums like football or rugby the participation level of those actively playing those sports is way down under 15%.
