No. Following guidelines from Scottish Golf, golf ranges can remain open as long as they meet the required Covid guidelines. Middlebank Golf Centre between Perth and Dundee is open
This is what I am missing down here. For most courses in my local area, the weather has turned them into swamps. But hitting a ball on the range just a couple of times a week makes me feel so much more at ease. I am missing the feeling of hitting an iron solidly... it does happen every so often :)

There are two things I really miss.

The banter with my mates. Being single I can go a week without talking to anybody under lockdown.

4-5 hours of fresh air. My legs will only take about 30 - 45 minutes of continuous walking.

On a personal level I drive virtually as far to get to the shops as I do to get to golf course. Walking round the rounds and pavements where I live must put me at much higher risk of covid because there are so many people out walking and the pavements are so narrow in places that close contact cannot be avoided.

I'll play golf all year round. But with the weather being so awful, I'm not as desperate as I would be come the more clement weather.

At the moment focusing on fitness and flexibility. That and studying for the next rank.
