its been about 10 days ive not played golf ,i play about 4 times aweek so with the snow stopping me going to the course ,ive hated every minute of wait ,,,,
i telephoned the club they said the course should be open tuesday ,so monday i made arrangement with my friend to pick him up tuesday morning at 8,,,not thinking of anything but the course & the work ive been doing on the range & my clubs are in the car etc
tuesday morning came ,,opened the front door ,where the f***ks my car, then it hit me the wife took the car for MOT & needed work doing to it ,so at to leave it at the garage ,i'd forgot ,,she did tell me but i was busy at the time & wasn't really listening to her DAM
then it hit me again the clubs & shoes where in the car ,plan B
phoned my mate & he was ok to drive ,,that meant i had 5min's to fined some clubs ,straight down to the shed managed to get Half a set together with my spare bag
yes oh yes i was back on the course ,,the club i missed the most was 9 iron ,,did the 18 holes in 93 shots went home to £160 garage bill
looking forward to going tomorrow with my usual clubs
