Anyone got one of these? We had a family BBQ yesterday and whilst it is fine to get the charcoal out etc for a big event we find we don't do it for ourselves because it is a hassle. Something like this would make it nice and simple and I am sure we would use it much more often.

Please, no purists banging on about charcoal, blah blah .

Anyone use one, any good?

A friend of mine bought one about a month back and he's loving it having been a traditional charcoal BBQ'er. The main thing is the ease of use but he's also getting into the smoking side of it and doing all sorts. I think I'd be sorely tempted if I hadn't bought a new BBQ at the start of last summer!

You get 2 bags of pellets with them iirc, I’ve still got loads left as I don’t use them a lot. You just pop them in the hopper on the side and press the Woodfire button, there’s a built in igniter that gets them going.
There’s a guy balled Pellet Man on Facebook who sells loads of different flavour pellets, not bought from him but I’ve only heard good reports.

If anyone is interested in the Ninja Woodfire Pro XL one just had an email from them with a £70 discount code. If I buy it it’ll lead to divorce!!

Quite a timely thread for me as been looking at one of these. My only concern is storage. I imagine this has to be put away after each use?

I bought the stand and cover and it's lived outside quite happily for over a year, ok my pergola has a roof which stops most of the rain but I'd have no qualms leaving it under the stars as long as the cover is fitted.

Hmm this thread is really tempting me! I have a Kamado which is great for those big cooks, pulled pork, brisket, burnt ends or Lamb shoulder it’s ideal. But it is a labour of love, you have to fuss over it to keep the temp stable and there are so many variables it’s hard to deliver good food on time.
Also for a simple bbq it’s not great, slow to get hot and hard to control with the lid open. This Ninja jobbie might be just the thing! Wonder if my wholesaler can deliver it as 5 drums of cable? 😬

Do you have an outside electric point? I have one, but not specifically where I’d want to have a BBQ.
