I know there is another thread, but I thought I would post my own little review of the Covert now I have owned it a few days and have it hit it quite a few times.
On first opening the Covert box, my initial though was WOW. I hadn't hit the club before pre-ordering, I had gone with the advertising and hype, and I had concerns over the red head, but it's actually a really sleek colour, and the white "swoosh" isn't too over-powering. I couldn't wait to hit it. The new 360 grip on the club is a definite improvement over the previous incarnation and when you put the club behind the ball, it looks superb. I have the 460cc head, and it really doesn't look big behind the ball, as I thought it would. Hitting the ball is what this club is about though and it goes like a rocket. The sound isn't too loud, just a nice crack as the ball flies away towards the target. The adjustability is a piece of cake. Unscrew the head, match the loft you require (of the 5 available) with the 3 face angle settings and re-tighten. It's really a 30 second job. Put the club back down and you're good to go again. On the course, I can honestly say I feel so confident with the club in my hands. Mis-hits (yes, there were a couple!) still go like a steam train off the face with no obvious twisting of the club in your hands...it really is quite forgiving. Sweet strikes were rewarded with a great ball flight, even in some winds playing today. I could quite happily hit this club all day long, and really can't wait to get back on to the course next weekend!!
