Nike players chaning gear.

What i find interesting is that Rory is playing a driver that is not released yet, a prototype Odessey putter, again, not released yet, and a set of Apex MB irons, that i have never seen for sale. And he isn't even a Callaway staffer.

How does that work?

It looked like he was using the same Scotty he did at the Fed Ex - unless the prototype Odessey is a spitting image including the removable weights

i have visions of rory stood in a line outside the titlest tour truck. like a fish and chip shop!!

I remember some years ago Tiger snapping a shaft on the range at a tournament,no sooner had he noticed what he had done that a guy from the tour van took it out of his hands to repair it,no queing up for Tiger back then!!

Most tour trucks leave before the weekend anyway ... in order to be available for the next event.

On the European Tour the Mizuno van is still, I believe, the Tour's official "repairer" and they stay on after the others have left.

Or perhaps they are so good that, within reason, it doesn't matter what they use.

This and also I would change ASAP to continue to get the level of service.

Something along the lines of:

"Doesn't matter what I play as long as I can have it setup how I wanted and repaired on the spot."

Not a surprise IMO, would be more of a suprise if a top player continued with Nike
