Having loved the original incarnation of the Nike Lunar, when it came time to upgrade, I bought a second pair in one of the new colours Nike have released for this season (I went for White, Orange and black - my favourite colour combination).
Once again, these shoes do not disappoint. No need for "wearing in", they're comfortable, light and all around superb right out of the box. The new colours look absolutely fantastic and in my opinion these are one of the best "modern yet traditional" shoes on the market. As a side note (and quite an important one at that), absolutely no problems with leakage, superbly water tight.
The Lunar technology the use for cushioning feels like you're walking on clouds and your feet don't ache or feel tired after 18 holes. The Flywire technology first used in their running shoes helps the shoe to feel "fitted" and the stability really helps maintain a solid base throughout the swing.
If you're looking for a stylish, comfortable, mid-priced shoe, look no further than the Lunar Control. The new range of colours gives enough of a spectrum for even the most loudly dressed golfer but in this case, Nike haven't sacrificed for style over substance, they perform as good as they look.
